Here be cider and perry tasting notes

Ross-on-Wye Cider & Perry Company, Perry, 7%, Broome Farm, Peterstow, Ross-on-Wye
Medium dry still perry fermented in a rum barrel: the first note to emerge from the bottle when opened was pineapple, a waft of fruity fragrance that remained in the glass as long as the perry was drunk. Pineapple was also present on the palate along with a full body of rich pear juice and a hint of hazelnut. The merest whisper of rum was like Banquo at the feast, but in this instance didn’t ruin it. Lots of complexity and flavour and a lasting finish.
